e-EFKA to Pay Retroactive Benefits to 1,015 Pensioners Tomorrow

e-EFKA will pay retroactive amounts totaling €2.18 million to 1,015 pensioners tomorrow. Of these, 985 are alive, while in 30 cases the amounts will be paid to beneficiaries based on inheritance rights.

The beneficiaries mainly come from the Social Insurance Institute (IKA) and the Pension Fund of the National Bank of Greece Employees (TSP-ETE).

According to the organization, the retroactive payments resulted from the correction and completion of insurance data, as well as from the recalculation of the main pension's supplementary insurance contribution.

The total expenditure amounts to €2,185,686.43, of which €2,040,331.56 concerns living pensioners and €145,354.87 concerns inheritance amounts.
