EDPR Sells Wind Farms in Greece to Enel-Macquarie for €200 Million

EDP Renováveis (EDPR), one of Europe's largest renewable energy providers, has announced the sale of four operational wind farms in Greece, with a total capacity of 150 MW, to Principia, a joint venture between Enel and Macquarie Asset Management.

The transaction is valued at €200 million (enterprise value). The projects being transferred have an average lifespan of 1.5 years and 20-year guaranteed contracts (CfD) ensuring stable revenues.

This deal is part of EDPR's 'Asset Rotation' program, aiming to raise €2 billion by 2025 for reinvestment in new clean energy projects. So far, €700 million has been secured, covering 35% of the target.
