Retroactive payments to 1,015 pensioners on Friday

Retroactive payments of €2.18 million will be paid to 1,015 pensioners on Friday, according to e-EFKA.

985 beneficiaries are alive, while in 30 cases the amounts will be paid to beneficiaries based on inheritance rights. The beneficiaries mainly come from IKA and the Pension Fund of the National Bank of Greece Personnel (TSP-ETE).

The retroactive payments resulted from the correction and completion of insurance data, as well as from the recalculation of the additional insurance premium of the main pension.

The total expenditure amounts to €2,185,686.43, of which €2,040,331.56 concerns pensioners who are alive and €145,354.87 concerns inherited amounts.
