The changes are linked to new European regulations approved in March 2026, which strengthen depositor protection in the event of bank resolution.

Deposits: Piraeus Bank was upgraded, while Eurobank, National Bank of Greece, and Alpha Bank maintained their ratings with a stable outlook. Optima Bank maintained its rating but with an improved outlook to positive.

Senior Unsecured Debt and Issuers: Piraeus Bank, Alpha Bank, and Optima Bank maintained a stable outlook. Eurobank and National Bank of Greece saw their outlook change to negative.
