New €900M Funds Catalyzed by EATE

Four new major funds, totaling €900 million, are being created with the support of the Hellenic Development Bank of Investments (EATE).

According to newmoney.gr, these funds are in the process of raising capital and are expected to 'lock in' the participation of EATE. Among them are the third fund of Big Pi Ventures, the third fund of Elikonos Capital, the corresponding fund of EOS Capital, and the second of SMERemediumCAP (SMERC).

Mr. Charis Lambropoulos estimates that the number of funds supported by EATE will exceed 40, managing approximately €2.3 billion. The aim is to strengthen startup and small-to-medium enterprises.
