Ioannis Stefanis, the founder of Ichthyotropheia Selonda and a pioneer of Greek aquaculture, has passed away. The Hellenic Organization of Aquaculture Producers (ELOPY) issued a condolence statement, emphasizing his significant contribution to the development of the sector.
In its announcement, ELOPY stated that Ioannis Stefanis was a visionary who dedicated his life to Greek aquaculture, leaving an indelible mark. ELOPY describes him as a man with a passion for the sea and a deep knowledge of nature, who established Greek aquaculture internationally.
