Ryanair Considers Bonus Increase for Oversized Baggage Detection

Ryanair's CEO, Michael O'Leary, is considering increasing the bonus paid to employees for identifying passengers with oversized baggage. Currently, staff receive €1.50 per oversized bag detected.
Ryanair announced it is considering increasing the bonus to deter passengers from bringing oversized luggage, as passengers carrying non-compliant baggage are charged up to £75.
Mr. O'Leary stated that the company faces difficulties with the number of bags brought onto planes and that over 99.9% of passengers correctly follow baggage rules.
Mr. O'Leary's comments came as Ryanair reported an increase in profits for the April-June period, with after-tax profits rising to €820 million.
