Stournaras: Economy on a dynamic course despite uncertainty

The Governor of the Bank of Greece, Yannis Stournaras, emphasized that the Greek economy is on a dynamic course, despite the unprecedented uncertainty.

During an event of the BoG for the dissemination of digital financial literacy, Mr. Stournaras underlined the importance of financial literacy as a necessary skill and source of stability.

The Bank of Greece has taken on the role of national coordinator of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development initiative "Global Money Week", with the aim of highlighting the importance of financial education for young people.

Mr. Stournaras also referred to the need for a coordinated contribution of bodies to cultivate financial literacy, especially for vulnerable social groups, and to address electronic financial fraud and false investment opportunities.
