Weber: Pierrakakis' Eurogroup Election Symbolizes Mitsotakis' Success in Greece

Manfred Weber, President of the European People's Party (EPP), congratulated Kyriakos Pierrakakis on his election as President of the Eurogroup, emphasizing that this development symbolizes Greece's successful trajectory under the leadership of Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

In a statement, Manfred Weber said: "Congratulations! Kyriakos Pierrakakis was elected as President of the Eurogroup. He is the Minister of Finance of Greece, a very successful one indeed, and his colleagues in Europe trust him."

Weber added that Greece assuming the Eurogroup presidency is "an excellent story, both for the country and for my party (EPP), because we have shown that the necessary reforms lead to growth, economic stability, as we see in Greece."
