Athens Stock Exchange: Rebound with banking rally

The Athens Stock Exchange rebounded strongly, led by banks. The General Index closed at 2,032.17 points, up 1.51%, recovering Tuesday's losses.
The banking index rose by 2.36%, with the National Bank standing out (+3.31%). Eurobank, Alpha Bank and Piraeus Bank also moved positively.
The value of transactions amounted to €166.54 million. After the end of the session, OPAP and Quest announced their Q2 results.
In international markets, European stock exchanges recorded positive signs, while Wall Street moved upwards after a downward start to September.
