Athens Stock Exchange: Rises Above 2,000 Points

The Athens Stock Exchange recorded a strong rise, returning above 2,000 points, following the positive climate in international markets after the US shutdown agreement.
In Monday's (10/11) session, the General Index strengthened by 1.45%, reaching 2,015.68 points. Last week, the index had fallen to a three-month low, closing at 1,986 points.
Investors are assessing the upgrade of the Greek economy by Scope Ratings, which confirmed confidence in the country's medium-term prospects. Fitch is expected to complete the cycle of evaluations on November 14.
National Bank of Greece is trading without the right to collect the interim dividend of 0.221 euros per share. The dividend payment will begin on Friday, November 14.
