Athens Stock Exchange: Decline, but Weekly Gains Maintained

The Athens Stock Exchange recorded a second consecutive decline but maintained its weekly gains. The session was characterized by high volatility, with sellers dominating after the announcement of Metlen's revised guidance for 2025.

However, the market recovered after 14:30, following the upward trend of international stock exchanges. The General Index closed at 2,362.35 points, down 0.17%, but recorded a weekly increase of 2.05%.

Metlen recorded a drop of over 13% after the announcement of a 25% decrease in EBITDA for 2025. In contrast, GEK TERNA and Coca-Cola HBC reached new records.

GEK TERNA signed an agreement to transfer part of its participation in BOAK. National Bank issued an AT1 bond of 500 million euros. Lamda Development received an offer for the sale of two plots of land in Elliniko.

The government approved a capital increase of 1 billion euros for ADMIE.

International markets recovered, with the Dow Jones recording gains of +1.5%.
