15-Year-Old Suffers Cardiac Arrest in Alimos Gym - Intubated

A 15-year-old suffered a cardiac arrest at a gym in Alimos and was transported intubated to a hospital.
The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when the teenager collapsed in the gym, injuring his occipital bone. An ambulance arrived at the scene and initially transported him to Asklipieio Voulas Hospital. Due to the critical nature of his condition, it was deemed necessary to transfer him to Agia Sofia Children's Hospital, where he was intubated.
Tests revealed damage to his liver and chest, attributed to resuscitation efforts (CPR) during the collapse. The fracture to the occipital bone was caused by the fall.
The 15-year-old remains sedated and in critical condition at the hospital, with doctors closely monitoring his progress. The Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) is conducting an investigation to determine the exact causes of the incident.
