Ampelokipoi: Illegal livestock found in Athens Tower

Shock in Ampelokipoi as an illegal livestock pen was discovered on the 16th floor of the Athens Tower. The Municipality of Athens mobilized following complaints about the illegal breeding of animals in appalling conditions.

On the building's roof, 31 chickens, 10 birds of various species, 10 goats, and 3 kids were found. The municipal services are arranging for the removal and transfer of the animals to safe locations, where they will undergo veterinary examination.
