A Canadair CL-215 firefighting aircraft made an emergency water landing in the Vrachati area of the Corinthian Gulf. The aircraft, which was operating at a fire in Feneos, landed in the sea to refill its tanks but experienced a problem and could not take off again.

The two pilots are safe, and the aircraft remains on the surface of the sea, supported by its floats. Fire Department sources report that procedures are underway to repair the damage.
