Electrical Appliance Recycling in Athens, October 6-16

The Municipality of Athens, in collaboration with Anakiklosi Syskevon A.E., is organizing a recycling event for small electrical and electronic appliances from October 6 to 16. A specially designed vehicle (VAN) will visit various neighborhoods of Athens, giving citizens the opportunity to recycle their appliances easily and responsibly.

The Mayor of Athens, Charis Doukas, emphasized that recycling is a way of life and an investment in the future of the city, while the Deputy Mayor for Cleaning and Recycling, Roxani Bei, referred to the importance of raising public awareness about safe recycling.

The VAN will be at various locations in Athens from 10:00 to 16:00, according to the following schedule:

5th Municipal Community: October 6 & 7, in the courtyard of the Agia Varvara church
1st Municipal Community: October 8, in the courtyard of the Agios Dionysios church
6th Municipal Community: October 9, Koliatou Square
7th Municipal Community: October 10 & 13, Gyzi Square and Ellinoroson Square
4th Municipal Community: October 14, Sepolia Metro Station
3rd Municipal Community: October 15, Ious Square
2nd Municipal Community: October 16, Neos Kosmos - Machis Analatou Square

The event is taking place within the framework of the International E-Waste Recycling Day (October 14).
