A meeting at Lavreotiki City Hall determined the compensation for those affected by the recent fire in East Attica. Citizens can submit applications from August 18 to 27, providing the registration form, E1, and E9.

Immediate assistance of 600 euros will be provided for initial expenses. Compensation for residences is as follows:

  • 2,000 euros for houses with green marking (primary residence)
  • 4,000 euros for houses with yellow marking
  • 6,000 euros for houses with red marking

For holiday homes, the amounts are halved. In addition, a monthly rental allowance of 300 to 500 euros will be provided retroactively.

The Mayor of Saronikos, Dimitris Papachristos, announced that a lawsuit will be filed against DEDDIE.
