Fire in Livera, Kozani reignites due to winds

The fire in the Livera area of Kozani has reignited due to strong winds and continues to burn for a second day.

According to the Fire Department, the fire is burning in a difficult-to-access area. 57 firefighters, 2 ground teams, and 13 vehicles are at the scene. From the morning, two helicopters began water drops to assist in the extinguishing efforts.

The fire that broke out in agricultural land in the Arethousa area of the Volvi municipality in Thessaloniki is under control.
