Port Ban: Delays in Piraeus and Rafina

Long queues are observed in the ports of Attica, as a port ban has been put in place due to strong winds, mainly in the Aegean.

In Piraeus, the ban is in effect at least until Friday afternoon. A ban is also in effect from Rafina to the Cyclades, Lavrio to Kythnos, and on the Agia Marina-Nea Styra ferry line. Routes to Argosaronic and to Marmari from Rafina are operating normally.

Passengers were not adequately informed, resulting in congestion in Piraeus. The Port Authority announced that the ban is in effect for Piraeus, Rafina, and Lavrio until 13:00, when a reassessment will be made.
