Achaia: Sheep Rescued from Fire in Kaminia
Volunteers rescued a flock of sheep trapped in a fenced plot in Kaminia, Achaia, as a fire approached. The flames reached within 15-20 meters of the animals. Two men opened the fence and freed the approximately 20 sheep.
The fire burned dry grass near Patras-Pyrgos road, with olive trees and residences in the area.
