Achaia: Damage Assessment from Fires Continues – 47 Inspections

Damage assessment continues in the fire-stricken areas of Achaia and Patras by teams from the General Directorate for Restoration of Natural Disaster Impacts (Γ.Δ.Α.Ε.Φ.Κ.). Within 24 hours, 47 inspections were carried out.

Specifically, the inspections recorded:

• Municipality of Western Achaia – Agios Stefanos Community: 11 inspections (1 green, 9 yellow, 1 red)
• Municipality of Western Achaia – Chaikali Community: 5 inspections (4 yellow, 1 red)
• Municipality of Erymanthos – Vasiliko Community: 6 inspections (1 green, 4 yellow, 1 red)
• Municipality of Erymanthos – Isoma Community: 3 inspections (all yellow)
• Municipality of Patras – Vrachnaika Community: 16 inspections (1 green, 12 yellow, 3 red)
• Municipality of Patras – Theriano Community: 6 inspections (1 green, 4 yellow, 1 red)

The responsible Deputy Minister, Mr. Katsafados, stated that the mobilization is continuous and multi-level, with the first recordings starting before the fire was completely extinguished. The goal is to pay compensation as quickly as possible before the end of August.
