Increased Traffic at Attica Ports Due to Holidaymakers' Exodus

Increased traffic is reported at the ports of Attica as the exodus of holidaymakers continues. According to data, more than 74,000 passengers departed from the three main ports of Attica (Piraeus, Rafina, Lavrio) from July 25 to July 27, 2025.

Specifically, the port of Piraeus recorded 65,597 passenger departures, while the ports of Rafina and Lavrio recorded 18,605 passengers. The peak of traffic was on Saturday, July 26.

In total, more than 380 routes were carried out from all the ports of Attica. The Hellenic Coast Guard is fully deployed to facilitate passengers and maintain smooth traffic flow.

Delays are reported on the Athens-Corinth highway and around the port of Piraeus.
