Clean Monday Exodus: Increased traffic to Argosaronic islands

The exodus of travelers from the ports of Attica for the Clean Monday long weekend is underway, with increased traffic mainly recorded to the islands of the Argosaronic.

The coast guard is on increased alert at the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio, coordinating the flow of passengers and compliance with security measures.

According to scheduled routes, six ship departures have been scheduled from the port of Piraeus today, while a total of 25 routes are planned for the islands of Argosaronic (18 by conventional ships and seven by speedboats).

Six departures will be carried out from the port of Rafina, as well as three additional ones to Marmari, while three departures have been scheduled from Lavrio.

Particularly increased passenger traffic was also recorded yesterday, Friday 20/12. 9,883 passengers departed from Piraeus, 1,634 for Argosaronic, 2,729 from Rafina and 605 from Lavrio.
