With over 88,000 vehicles, the Clean Monday exodus caused increased traffic and delays, especially on the Athens-Lamia highway, while a large increase was observed in departures to the islands of the Argosaronic.

According to the Traffic Police, from 18:00 on Friday to 06:00 on Saturday, 47,300 vehicles passed through Athens-Corinth and 41,079 through Athens-Lamia.

Delays were recorded on the Athens-Lamia national road, at the height of Yliki, due to works, with queues of up to 3 kilometers.

The Coast Guard is on alert for the smooth running of the routes, with emphasis on the islands of the Argosaronic, where 25 routes are carried out.
