Piraeus Mayor Giannis Moralis Inspects City Schools

The Mayor of Piraeus, Giannis Moralis, toured the municipality's schools ahead of the new academic year, which begins on September 11th. The inspection aimed to check the readiness of school buildings and the maintenance and renovation work carried out over the summer.
The tour began at the school complex on Tzavella Street in Neo Faliro and included visits to various schools, such as the Kaminia Gymnasium, the 47th Elementary School, and the 8th Lyceum of Piraeus. Mr. Moralis spoke with the principals and teachers, noting their needs and observations.
The works carried out included painting, floor replacement, toilet renovation, electrical upgrades, installation of LED lighting, and fire safety upgrades.
Mr. Moralis stated that the preparation of schools is a substantial investment in the city and that the municipality remains committed to upgrading the school infrastructure.
