Evia: 27-year-old dies in car accident in Karystos

A tragic car accident occurred in Karystos, Evia, early Saturday morning, claiming the life of a 27-year-old.

According to reports, the accident happened between 1:30 and 2:00 AM on the Marmariou - Karystos provincial road when the car driven by the 27-year-old veered off course and crashed into a pole. The vehicle then overturned and ended up in nearby fields.

Fire Brigade and ambulance services rushed to the scene, but the young driver was already dead. The causes of the accident are being investigated by the Karystos Police Department.
