Fire at Recycling Plant in Aigio - 112 Alert Issued

A fire broke out at a recycling plant in the Temeni area of Aigio, prompting an immediate response from the Fire Department.

An alert was sent via 112 to residents in the area, urging them to stay indoors and close doors and windows due to hazardous fumes.

30 firefighters with 11 vehicles and a ground team from the 6th EMODE are involved in the firefighting operation. Water tankers and equipment from the local authorities are also assisting in the effort.
