Fire in Oinofyta, Boeotia – Aerial Resources Deployed

A fire broke out on Monday afternoon in an area with low vegetation in Oinofyta, Boeotia. The Fire Department was immediately mobilized.

36 firefighters with two teams of the 4th EMODE, 11 vehicles, as well as two aircraft and two helicopters are operating at the scene, carrying out water drops.

According to firefighters' estimates, the fire suppression is progressing at a good pace, and there is optimism that it will not spread significantly.
