Fire in the Laista Zagori area

An alert was issued to the Fire Department for a fire that broke out in a forest area in the Local Community of Laista, in the Municipality of Zagori, Ioannina.

Two water-carrying vehicles and a pedestrian section of the 5th EMODE have rushed to the scene, while the assistance of a helicopter has been requested for the effective extinguishing of the fire.

According to reports, the fire is burning in the area of Agia Triada.
