Fire in Agios Stefanos Domokou near Photovoltaic Panels

A fire broke out in agricultural and forestry land in Agios Stefanos Domokou, near photovoltaic installations. The fire department responded immediately with aerial and ground forces.

According to the Deputy Regional Governor of Fthiotida, Ilias Sanidas, the timely intervention prevented the fire from spreading to the forest mountain area. Forces are working to contain the fire and prevent its spread.

The fire caused heavy smoke in the area, affecting traffic on the E65 highway at the Xinniada Domokou junction.
