Gavdos: October 28th Parade Held Without Students

On Gavdos, the national anniversary of October 28, 1940, was commemorated with a parade in Kastri, the island's main settlement. For the first time in years, students did not participate in the parade, with the flag being carried by residents of the island.

Earlier, a doxology was held in the presence of the mayor, Lilian Stefanaki, representatives of local authorities, the armed forces, and citizens.
