Thira General Hospital Responds to Da Costa Death Complaint

Thira General Hospital has issued a statement regarding the death of Brazilian footballer Ricardo Da Costa, following complaints from his family about the misjudgment of his health condition.
In the statement, the hospital details the procedure followed from the patient's admission to his transfer to EKAV for air ambulance.
According to Konstantinos Lykostratis, the authorized advisor for the administration of Thira General Hospital, Da Costa was diagnosed with "acute abdomen" and underwent emergency surgery. Following complications, an air ambulance was decided, but the patient suffered a cardiac arrest shortly before boarding the plane and died.
