ISAP: Person fell on the tracks between Nea Ionia and Irakleio

An alert was triggered on Wednesday afternoon when a person fell on the ISAP tracks between Nea Ionia and Irakleio stations.

It is unknown whether the person decided to end their life or fell accidentally onto the ISAP tracks. Their health condition remains unknown.

ISAP lines are operating normally from Piraeus to Ano Patisia and from 'Irini' station to Kifissia.

STASY informed that traffic is running on the Piraeus - A. Patisia and Irini – Kifissia sections, due to a person falling on the track from a footbridge between Nea Ionia and Irakleio stations.

The Fire Service, EL.AS, and EKAV are operating at the scene. The stations Perissos, Pefkakia, Nea Ionia, and Irakleio are temporarily out of service.
