Ioannina: Strong Winds Collapse Stage Canopy, Concert Cancelled

Strong winds caused the collapse of the stage canopy in Mavili Square in Ioannina, leading to the cancellation of a scheduled concert.

According to epiruspost, the incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m., when the stage intended for the concert of Anna Vissi, Antonis Remos, and Christos Mastoras with Melisses, collapsed due to strong winds. Fortunately, there were no injuries, as only technicians were in the area at the time.

Ambulances and police rushed to the scene. Police removed the crowd that had begun to gather. Technicians began dismantling the structures, leading to the cancellation of the concert, to the disappointment of the audience.
