Severe Weather Causes Problems in Corfu, Grevena, and Kozani

Severe weather has caused significant problems in Corfu, Grevena, and Kozani. In Corfu, heavy rainfall led to flooding and power outages. Corfu Airport suspended flights due to heavy rain, lightning, and low cloud cover.
In Grevena and Kozani, power outages occurred due to trees falling on PPC pylons. Specifically, Tsotyli, Amygdalies, Syndendro, Kydonies, and other villages were left without electricity.
In Ioannina, strong winds collapsed the stage where a concert by Anna Vissi, Antonis Remos, and Christos Mastoras was to take place. The Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY) warns of heavy rain and thunderstorms in Corfu, Paxos, and Epirus.
