Bus Crashes into House in Papagos Area

A bus on line 409 crashed into a house in the Papagos area, at Konitsis Square, causing property damage. The incident occurred around 18:30, when the bus, parked on Fragogianni Street, rolled backwards due to the downhill slope of the road.

According to the driver, the handbrake was engaged but released for an unknown reason. The collision caused damage to a first-floor apartment balcony, as well as a parked car. No injuries were reported.

Authorities are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
