Athens Municipality Files Lawsuit Over Unsafe Works in Thiseio

The Municipality of Athens has filed a lawsuit against all responsible parties following an inspection by the municipal police in Thiseio.

It was found that natural gas works were being carried out on Herakleidon Street without the necessary permits from the Traffic Police and the Municipality, and without safety fences or signage.

The team, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Infrastructure, Andreas Grammatikogiannis, identified serious deficiencies in safety measures, endangering pedestrians and drivers. The Greek Police were immediately notified, and a lawsuit was filed at the Acropolis Police Station.
