New elderly care centers in Central Greece

New day care centers for the elderly are being created in the Region of Central Greece. Specifically, €1,415,008.92 is allocated for the creation of elderly care centers in the Municipalities of Karpenisi, Lokroi and Aliartos - Thespies.

The Regional Governor of Central Greece, Fanis Spanos, signed the decisions to include the projects in the program 'Central Greece 2021-2027'.

The new centers will provide services such as nursing care, personal hygiene, daily meals, creative employment programs and development of functional and social skills. In the Municipality of Aliartos-Thespies, there will be cooperation with a doctor and psychologist/social worker.

Mr. Spanos stated that the Region cares for elderly citizens and ensures their better quality of life.
