Nea Chalkidona: Fire Truck Accident, Firefighter Injured

A traffic accident involving a fire truck occurred in Nea Chalkidona, resulting in a firefighter sustaining minor injuries. The incident happened on Agion Anargyron Street, near the intersection with Acharnon Street, shortly after 3 p.m.

Four firefighters were in the vehicle, heading to an urban fire. The injured firefighter was taken to 251 GNA hospital and is hospitalized out of danger.

Due to the accident, traffic on Agion Anargyron Street was temporarily disrupted but was restored after 5 p.m. The fire the firefighters were responding to was extinguished by citizens.

The Traffic Police are conducting a preliminary investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
