Athens Metro Stations Close Earlier Due to Construction

Changes to Line 2 of the Athens Metro are in effect from Clean Monday due to track upgrades and 5G network installation.

Syntagma (Line 2), Acropolis, and Syngrou Fix stations will close to the public at 21:40, approximately 2.5 hours earlier than usual.

Syntagma station will remain open for Line 3.

Train service on the red line will operate in the sections Anthoupoli – Panepistimio and Neos Kosmos – Elliniko.

To serve the public, OASA has launched the temporary bus line X15, covering the Panepistimio – Agios Ioannis section.
