Fire in Examilio Lagada: Helicopters in Extinguishing Operation

A fire is currently burning in a forest area north of Examilio, in the Municipality of Lagada, Thessaloniki. The fire started at 14:30.

According to the Fire Department, the fire does not threaten any residential areas. 41 firefighters with two teams of foot patrols from the 2nd EMODE and 12 vehicles are participating in the extinguishing operation. Two helicopters are assisting from the air.
