Santorini: Winds Lifted Caravan into the Air

Gale winds in Santorini caused severe problems, lifting a caravan into the air and destroying it. The incident occurred in Emporio on Sunday, 29.06.2025.

According to cyclades24.gr, the caravan was empty, preventing any injuries. A security camera recorded the incident.

Authorities are urging citizens and visitors to be especially careful due to the strong winds that are expected to continue.

In addition, a 28-year-old, Charalambos Komodromos, was found dead in the sea area of Geroskipou in Paphos.
