3.8 Richter Earthquake off the Coast of Chania

An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale occurred recently in the sea area off the coast of Chania, Crete.

According to the Automatic Solution of the Geodynamic Institute of Athens, the earthquake was recorded 16 km South-Southeast of Sougia, Chania, at a focal depth of 5 km.
