Earthquake of 4.7 Richter Scale in Nisyros

An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred at 19:39 off the coast of Nisyros. According to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the epicenter of the earthquake is located 40 km south-southeast of Nisyros.

The focal depth is estimated at 122 km.
