Earthquake in Evia: Moments of Panic Captured on Video

Anxiety was triggered by the earthquake that occurred in Styra, felt in Attica and Evia. A video shows citizens running in panic during the earthquake at a catering establishment.
In videos from a supermarket, products fell from the shelves.
Athanasios Ganas, Research Director at the Geodynamic Institute of Athens, stated that the earthquake originated from a fault with horizontal slip characteristics, at a focal depth of 14-17 km.
Efthymios Lekkas, Professor of Geology and President of OASP, mentioned that the fault is adjacent to the area of Oropos, but does not appear to be related to the faults in the area.
