Serres: Tanker truck falls into irrigation canal, driver rescued

A tanker truck fell into an irrigation canal on the national road to Nigrita, in Serres. The accident occurred near the Nigrita Correctional Facility.

According to ERT, the driver of the tanker truck, which was carrying sewage, lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons. Firefighters rescued the driver, who was conscious and transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Serres.
