Municipalities Unite to Tackle Traffic Chaos

The Municipalities of Ilioupoli, Elliniko-Argyroupoli, and Vyronas are joining forces to solve traffic chaos. In a joint meeting on July 23rd, Mayors Stathis Psyrropoulos, Giannis Konstantatos, and Alexis Sotiropoulos emphasized the need for immediate action.

The three municipalities demand official information from the government regarding the urban tunnel and a specific timeline, setting a deadline of September 15, 2025. In case of non-response, they warn of escalating actions.

The municipalities request official information on the project's design stage, access to existing studies, a specific timeline, and institutional participation in the project's design and monitoring.

In case of non-response, they will proceed with symbolic road closures, the establishment of an organized citizens' movement, and political pressure through all institutional and social means.
