Thessaloniki: Ten-Year-Old Suffers Cardiac Arrest at Swimming Pool, Saved by Paramedics

A ten-year-old child suffered a cardiac arrest at a swimming pool in Thessaloniki today. The incident occurred at the Poseidonio Swimming Pool.

Paramedics and a doctor from EKAV Thessaloniki arrived promptly at the scene and applied the necessary advanced life support protocols. Thanks to their timely intervention, the child was revived.

The child was then transported to Hippokratio Hospital of Thessaloniki for further medical examinations. The operation involved an ambulance and a Mobile Medical Unit of EKAV with four paramedics and a doctor.
