Thessaloniki: Arrest for Fire in Chortiatis, Fine of 4,331 Euros

A man was arrested in Thessaloniki for the fire that broke out in Chortiatis. The fire was caused by a beekeeper's beehives. The arrested man was fined 4,331 euros.

Firefighting forces intervened immediately, limiting the spread of the fire. The mayor of Pylaia - Chortiatis, Ignatios Kaitezidis, stated that timely information from a drone contributed to the effective extinguishing.
