Thymari: Volunteers save house from fire – Video

Titanic effort by volunteers in Thymari, Attica to save a house from the fire. With shovels in hand and jumping over fences, the volunteers tried to contain the flames.

The fire in Eastern Attica is raging, with strong firefighting forces operating. There are 260 firefighters, with 10 teams of foot patrols and 77 vehicles, while 13 aircraft and 15 helicopters were operating from the air.

The effort of the volunteers was recorded by the ERT camera, where they are seen jumping over the fence and trying to put out the flames.
